In Vermintide, the player assumes the role of one of five heroes defending the city of Ubersreik, each one featuring different playstyles, abilities, gear and personalities. Working cooperatively, the players must use their individual attributes to survive a full scale invasion of the Skaven, a loathsome race of rat-men swarming up from their underground lairs. The battle for Ubersreik will take place across an array of faithfully rendered environments ranging from the top of the Magnus Tower to the bowels of the Under Empire.
