1. When does coverage begin?
 

AIG Extended Warranties begin the day after the manufacturer's warranty ends. AIG keeps you protected beyond the manufacturer's warranty to extend the life of your product. Accidental Damage From Handling (ADH) Coverage for all AIG ADH Extended Warranties starts on your product purchase date for any type of ADH claim. Coverage for all mechanical failures not related to ADH starts after the manufacturer's warranty expires.

 
2. How quickly can I expect to receive service?
 

AIG's toll-free number (866) 257-9193 is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. We can set up your on-site service call and schedule your service Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm local time. AIG's network of over 30,000 technicians will work with you so that service is performed around your schedule. If you need to ship your product in for service, you'll receive a box the next business day with a pre-paid label. We'll fix your product at our service center and ship it back to you.

 
3. What is Accident Protection?
 

Accident Protection covers Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH), any accidents which happen during normal use of the product. While most service plans cover basic mechanical malfunction only, ADH covers your product from accidents like drops, falls, power surges and other accidental damages during the entire term of coverage.

 
4. What is Service Express?
 

Service Express is a benefit AIG provides to all Newegg Customers. As a Better Business Bureau A+ member, we stand behind our service and expect that we can repair or replace your product (depending on the ESP coverage you purchased) within five business days. We will refund the cost of the service plan you purchased if we take longer to complete your repair or replacement. The time to repair your product does not include shipping time to or from our repair facilities. We will repair your product within five business days of receipt at our repair facility. This benefit is not currently available to any Newegg Customers scheduling onsite service. Service Express does not cover extended repair times due to parts unavailability. Please contact AIG at (866) 257-9193 to request a refund.

 
5. What does the Extended Warranty cover, and are there any hidden costs?
 

• 100% coverage, we provide 100% parts and labor coverage on all covered repairs!
• Laptop Repair - To initiate a laptop repair, a box is express shipped to your location, express shipped to a certified repair facility, and then express returned to you, all at no cost to YOU!
• Desktop computer and applicable peripheral repairs will be done on-site.

 
6. When will I receive a service contract?
 

Your service contract will be emailed to you within 24 to 48 hours of your plan purchase. Please file the emailed details of your contract in a safe place for future reference. Your contract will be sent in a PDF file format from service@sndirect.com.
